Customizing themes and fonts is essential in my coding environment. The default themes installed with Xcode 4 are a bit, let’s say, shabby.
Your code doesn’t have to look so sour. I’ve collected a list of Xcode themes and fonts that you can install.
Xcode theme’s
All themes listed below can be downloaded on GitHub. To install the themes, copy them to the Xcode’s FontAndColorThemes
folder (~/Library/Developer/Xcode/UserData/FontAndColorThemes/
) and restart Xcode.

Xcode does not offer any line height options. It’s one of the reasons I use Meslo, a great alternative for Menlo. It comes in three ‘line-height’ sizes (S, M, L).

Adobe’s open source font. Recommended!
